Nice site, enjoy reading comments about USS CANBERRA. Worked in engine room for awhile, then in the Engineering Dept. Log Room. Was on board the ship from Dec 1960 to September 1963 when I got discharged. Wonder if anybody knows the whereabouts of "Hogie" from Personnel Dept? I remember Jim, Watson and Benny all guys that were in the office.

My Father was on board the Canberra during WW2, he was a gunners mate, he was also on board on the 13 when she got hit, I just want to thank all who served on the Canberra, because of you I am here today and able to live in the greatest nation on the earth.
