My dad William Munsill was a Canberra "plank owner" serving through World War II as a petty officer fire controlman. He passed away recently, just short of 90 years of age. He told stories of his time aboard the Canberra every day of his life, and he reconnected with many shipmates at the 50th anniversary in 1995 and afterward. He had a Canberra cap welded to his head for the last few decades, and his time aboard ship was without doubt the adventure of his life. Thanks and best wishes to his remaining shipmates!
