If you remember Jim, can you send me an email at ahb@lawpga.com or call me at 1-800-232-9240? Jim passed away on July 21, 2014, not much is known about his time on board. Thank you.

I served on board the Canberra Dec '65-Sep '69. I have been in constant contact with John George, Michael Clevenger, Ray Hammond, Dick Merkel and John Hurriel for some time now. would like to find more shipmates to join our group BS'ers. Jon Clevenger was part of the group until he passed a few years ago. Jon Clevenger and I made the popcorn for the evening movies while on the WestPac. Made 4 WestPac's and met a lot of cool folks on the CanDo.

I am writing this on behalf of my dad Stanley Burk who served on the Canberra on that fateful day 10/13/44 and survived. He is almost 90 and still remembers the details of that Japanese torpedo that took out the Canberra. I went on line and found an amazing photo of the Canberra being pulled out of harms way by the Wichita!!
