My brother served on the Canberra sometime between 1954 - 1960. Frank passed away this year in April. He always talked about the time he spent aboard the Canberra. If anyone served with him, I hope you had the same memories and the holidays were good to you.

I served aboard the USS CANBERRA CAG2, 1959-1962 in the boatswain div.sail locker. I would love to hear from anyone that may remember me. I realize that many of the crew members that served from 1959-1962 have passed. So sad, that was some of my best memories. May God bless all of us. Thanks Robert G. Hatcher BM3

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I also wanted to let everyone know what a great honor and experience it was to get to meet some of you at the reunion in Florence this year. My Grandfather, Howard Knoll, served on board during WWII. I never got the opportunity get to know him as he passed away several months after I was born. Getting to meet some of the guys and see the different pictures was a chance to get to know him. If anybody may have served with him, drop me a line.

Was on Canberra from 1967 to 1969. Was on board when the landing craft came along side with dead and alive men. I was the one who found Tufle in his bunk dead in Hong Kong harbor.

My dad, Willie Bailey, served on the USS Canberra (CAG-2). He died 11/03/2010. He was so proud that he served. He died of agent orange, but was proud of his Country. He wore his Vietnam hat all the time. Anyone who remembers my dad can email me, I would love to hear from you.

I just wanted to let everyone that might have served with my dear uncle Willie Bailey while he served on the Can Do Kangaroo that he lost his battle with cancer today at 11:43 eastern time. He spoke fondly of his time on the ship and used to tell me stories of his travels.
His cancer, like so many who served in Vietnam, came from agent orange, but he was very proud of his service to his country. Please think of his loved ones in this time of loss.
God bless this country that he served and god bless you all.
