    Comments: My father recently posted about my Grand Uncle Gerald Keenan, One of the very unfortunate 23 that died. R.I.P. Heroes. I was Born Friday October 13 1990 and believe that if you were born Friday October 13 in the USA you are somehow a reminder that just because they are dead they are not forgotten but reborn.

    Comments: I am looking for any information about two shipmates that served on this ship during late 1967 until around spring of 1968. The one would be Robert C. May...as I believe, he was a cook. The other I am not sure of the name other then first name was Manuel. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

    Comments: My uncle, Gerald Keenan, was killed during the torpedo attack of Oct.13, 1944. I am happy that people keep his memory, as well as my namesake, alive. THANK YOU MEN

    Comments: Just surfed in I was looking for some info as to when we are going to be back on line with the old shipmate listed with each div. with old and present photos before it crashed does anyone know anything. I have been trying to get hold of Skip Hagen who use to be the web master. Thanks oh please, does anyone have an old cruise book from the around the world cruise in 1960 I was onboard from 1956 till 1960 in OI div thanks and talk to you later. jos

    Comments: My father was a boilermaker in the boiler room that was hit on the Canberra when she was torpedoed. He died a few years ago. He never got over the fact that he was a survivor

    Comments: Any one serving on U.S.S. Canberra during the torpedo on Oct 13, 1944 please contact me. I'd like to know if you knew my uncle Albert J Wolfe. He burned to death in a fire in 1953, the year I was born.

    Comments: Was aboard Canberra from 1966 to 1969. Went through decommissioning at Hunter Point, Ca. Was On board during Pueblo. I was EM2 in "E" Division.
